Frequently Asked Questions

What can you do in 7 minutes?

Have you ever had a question and didn’t know where to find the answer? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

This section is a compilation of answers to the questions most commonly asked by women coming to our website. If you can’t find the question you wanted to ask, don’t hesitate to contact us.

  1. What does your organization do?

The Time To Fly Foundation provides an intervention/prevention program, FREE of charge to participants, to come along side of abused women and children. We raise awareness and help those affected by dating/domestic violence. Our Mission's charge is to provide a safe place where a woman and her child can receive the tools to empower them to Regain Their God Given Worth, Break the Cycle of Abuse, and Strengthen the Family Unit. Please also visit our 'What We Do section'.

  2. How can I get involved?

Please fill out our Volunteer Form and share your gifts and talents. Our Volunteers are the backbone of the Time To Fly Foundation! We’re always on the lookout for individuals like you wanting to get involved. Please visit our How To Help section to find out ways to donate or volunteer. There are five (5) major events planned this year! Participants would receive a community service letter, meet other like minded people, make an IMPACT against family abuse AND…have FUN!

  3. If I were to donate funds, how is my money used?

Donations to the Time To Fly Foundation are what keep the doors open for hurting women and children. Donations cover the practical needs of providing:

    -10-week Program x 4/yr. (Woman & Child)
-Child care so the mother may attend without concern for her child
    -Staff Support
    -800 # A woman can call 24/7

We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the Time To Fly Foundation. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law. All inquiries must be in writing.

  4. What is your organization's privacy policy?

The Time To Fly Foundation takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters and participants. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organizations, public, private or nonprofit. For more detailed information visit our Privacy Policy page. Our participants are asked to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to participating in the Program to ensure security.

  5. How are Teens Affected by Abuse?

Teens experience every color of abuse, i.e., verbal, emotional psychological, financial, stalking/stalking by texting or sexting and more. The Time To Fly Foundation provides workshops for teens ages 16 years and up. Our faith-based program can help young women make better choices for a better future when God's standard is upheld. 'Love' does NOT leaves scars!

  6. Is Abuse Prevalent in Christian Marriages?

Sad to say, yes, many Christian marriages experience abuse, too! Churches are the hospitals from the world for Christian followers where they can find counsel. However, clergy may not be equipped to handle the growing abuse related issues in the church and refer women and children to the Time To Fly Foundation as a resource for help. Our charge is to help 'churched' and 'unchurched' women and children through the Truths of the Word of God.
